                                 CHECKING YOUR IP CONFIGURATION

Unlike Windows 98/ME, there is no visual ip tool in Windows XP by default.
Windows XP turns back to dos age for whatever reason and wants you to use
a command line for it.

To launch ipconfig:
- start, run.., type cmd, click ok
- type ipconfig and press enter

To launch wntipcfg.exe:
first it must be downloaded from:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/techinfo/reskit/tools/existing/
wntipcfg-o.asp
An entry should be added to the start menu for launching.
