                                       CONVERTING FAT32 TO NTFS


If you've upgraded from Windows 98/ME to XP then you probably didn't
get the choice of changing the file system to NTFS or were afraid to.

If you would like to do a conversion now that Windows XP is installed
you can do this with a simple command. Please note, however that you
cannot go BACK to FAT32 without formatting your drive which means if
you need to go back to FAT32 you will have to start all over.

To convert your drive to NTFS:
- click start - run.. - type cmd, click ok
- now type convert /fs:ntfs <drive letter>
- you may be prompted that you have to reboot because the drive is 
locked, press "Y" to prompt and reboot your machine to start the
conversion process.
