This error message is informing you that your registry is corrupted
(uh-oh) but there are two fixes available for this error.

- Boot your machine, press F8 select Boot Using Last Known Good 
  Configuration. This may or may not fix it.

Alternatively, you can do it this way if the above doesn't work:
- Boot with Windows XP CD, select Recovery Console on repair options.
- type in the following commands:
  md temp (makes temp directory)
  copy C:\windows\system32\config\system C:\windows\tmp\system.bak
  del C:\windows\system32\config\system
  copy C:\windows\repair\system C:\windows\system32\config\system
- now type exit and hope your computer boots, if not reinstallation
is your only option.
