PICTURES WONT OPEN IN WINDOWS PICTURE/FAX VIEWER

This behavior occurs because Windows XP looses registry information about
Shimgvw.dll, to fix this:
- make sure all instances of internet explorer/explorer are closed
- click start, run..
- type in regsvr32 /s %systemroot%\system32\shimgvw.dll
- click ok

Try Windows Picture/Fax Viewer again.
