REPAIR/REINSTALL WMP8 IN XP

You can, at least, partly reinstall WMP8. If you don't know, WMP8 is 
intregated into the operating system and cannot be installed. However,
if you'd like to at least partially reinstall WMP8, then do the
following:

Make sure your Windows XP CD is in the drive before you start this
process.



- click start, run..
- type in the following:
  rundll32.exe setupapi,InstallHinfSection InstallWMP64 132 c:\windows\inf\
  mplayer2.inf
- click ok
- click start, run..
- type in the following:
  rundll32.exe setupapi,InstallHinfSection InstallWMP7 132 c:\windows\inf\
  wmp.inf
- click ok
- RESTART YOUR MACHINE!
