DISABLE WINDOWS GENIUNE ADVANTAGE

You can disable the Windows Geniune Advantage Tool for complete access to 
Windows Update by doing one of the following:


-----------------------
Windows XP SP1 or below
-----------------------
- open internet explorer
- in the address bar put the following in:
  javascript:void(window.g_sDisableWGACheck='all')
- press enter
- the plug-in should now be disabled, you should be able to access windows
  update easy.

- open internet explorer
- click tools, internet options..
- click programs tab
- click manage add-ons
- look for Windows Genuine Advantage, highlight it
- click disable
- click ok
