KILL THE INTERNAL PICTURE/FAX VIEWER IN XP

By default Windows XP has a internal picture/fax viewer in which all picture
(jpg, gif, bmp) open with its viewer. This will remove the settings that have
it as the default viewer. Please note that this COULD cause thumbnail view 
problems in XP.


1. click start, run
2. type in regsvr32 /u shimgvw.dll
3. press enter and files should be unregistered

In the event you need it back type in regsvr32 shimgvw.dll to re-register
the viewer.
