                     CHECKING YOUR HARD DISK W/ CHKDSK

Under normal conditions you should rarely have to run chkdsk on a disk
that is running on the NTFS file system, but in the event you are still
running FAT32 or you just want to make sure your disks are functioning
correctly, do this:
- click start, run, type cmd, click ok
- type chkdsk <drive letter>, press enter
chkdsk will do a basic integrity check on your drive
- for a more in depth scan, type chkdsk /r <drive letter> instead
