If you run Windows XP and run into the issue where your cpu is suddenly
being eaten by svchost.exe, then I may have a solution for you.

Svchost.exe is a tricky program it is actually more than one program, 
good news is some of these can be disabled through services. This may 
or may not fix your problem.

Some of these services are not allowed to be disabled, but disable them one
by one to discover what process is actually taking your CPU away.
