"Son of The Mask" Rant
Yeah you guessed it, this movie sucked ass. Do I really need to explain why? I mean as if the trailer didn't tell you it was going to be a complete suck fest from the beginning. For the brain dead here's WHY you should avoid this movie at all costs:
- For starters, no Jim Carrey. Right there should tell you, sequels without the original star usually SUCK. PERIOD. There are very few sequels without their star that are better than the original. Perhaps Jim Carrey saw the script and decided to pass on this shit fest?
- Jamie Kennedy is the replacement, yeah and he can't act worth a shit. He seems to just read through all of his lines and wing it. No comedic relief found from him.
- The seemingly stars of the movie, yeah a freakin CG Baby and a CG Dog. Wow excitement there. On top of that the CG is done piss poor.
- The budget is LOWER than that of the original mask movie. Does that tell you anything? There was no effort done to actually make this movie good, it was all here just to make money strictly off the name itself.
- The comedy in the movie you ask? It involves a CG Baby pissing all over the place and passing gas. Yeah, how funny and original.
I don't care to rant much on this movie, I have better things to do. Don't waste your time seeing this movie, or even renting it cause you'll just be upset the time you spent watching this movie. Hell, I'm upset at the time I spent typing about this movie.
