THE RING TWO REVIEW

This movie was the biggest waste of time, in short there is NO MYSTERY, NO
SUSPENSE, NO NOTHING in this movie when comparing it to the first one.

The story, its been 6 months since the events of The Ring have taken place.
Rachel and Aidan have since moved away from Seattle to start fresh in Oregon.
Her wish of escaping from Samara are quickly stomped when she discovers a
crime scene in which seems very familiar. 

There are quite a few flaws/incompletes to the movie:

* How was Samara conceived? The only thing told in the movie is that there
  was no father figure. We are not told how, when, where she was concieved.

* Jake (student at the beginning) is trying to convince this girl (Emily) to
  watch the tape..WITH only 10 minutes LEFT of his 7 day period? WTH? Why not
  start earlier and convince someone else to watch it? Must have not valued
  his life very much. Or perhaps he didn't take it serious enough.

* The concept of the tape is completely pointless in this movie, one of the
  highlights of the orignal. Samara kills people in this movie that haven't
  even seen the movie..This is because she is a free spirit thanks to rachel
  in the first one.

* We never understand why Samara's mother knew that Rachel was coming to ask
  her some questions, and we never find out why she has had many vistors in
  the past with the same questions.

* The end when Rachel and Samara race to the top, Samara is all slow while
  Rachel is way ahead...Samara falls then she suddenly has super speed and
  crawls up the well in a instant? Please. 

* Just how the heck did Samara/Aidan move Max back into the truck after she
  killed him?

* Samara still killed even with the Well capped in the first one, what makes
  Rachel think it is done when she caps off the well in the second one?

* We are lead to believe that Anna Morgan was actually Samara's birth mom,
  based on a birth certificate, miscarriages, Richard Morgan's Statement
  "My wife wasn't supposed to have a child!" but this is all seemingly
  ignored in the sequel.

Those are some of the questions the movie rises and seemingly never solves,
in fact instead of answering questions it made the movie more or less a
mess.

The CG effects were pitiful in this one, the deer scene was painful to watch
it was CLEARLY CG no questions asked. Samara CG figure was ridicilous as well,
So the movie bombed in the special effects category too.

BOTTOMLINE, This sequel is full of plot holes, the plot isn't interesting
and there is no excitement you experienced in the first one.
